Knit Simple: Spring/Summer Issue

Have you picked up the latest issue of Knit Simple? You should!

If for nothing else, for the 101 Top Knit Tips. That list is invaluble! I already know some of the stuff on the list, but there are several things that I never thought of. For instance, have you ever tried to check your gauge when you’re knitting with fun fur or some other fuzzy yarn that obscures the stitches? It can be totally crazy-making. The list suggests knitting exactly the number of stitches and rows called for and then measure the square. It’s so obvious! Why the hell didn’t I ever think of that? Where was this list when I was knitting that little cat a skunk, hmm?

That list alone is worth the cost of the magzine.
