Knitting for…


There’s a rescue operation in the UK (Little Hen Rescue) that rescues chickens. Apparently, rescued battered hens have often pulled out their own feathers due to stress. Since they’ve got no plumage, they get cold when they’re finally allowed to strut outside. So, they’ve developed a chicken sweater pattern so these little guys can go outside comfortably in the colder months.

Takes the whole knitting for your pets thing to a new level, doesn’t it? You’ve got to admit they’re kind of cute, though:
